The mission of Mujeres a Mujeres is to raise funds in order to help the women and children of the Jaltemba Bay area. The bulk of our funding is realized through the Jaltemba Bay Fashion Show, one of the largest fund raisers in all of Riviera Nayarit. Fashion Show profits are dedicated to Educational Grants for local young women to attend university. Current projects include the local junior high Breakfast Program and a Christmas Basket Giveaway to local deserving families. Other recent projects included helping with a new floor in Kinder Manatau and an outdoor shade area at another. One of the causes supported over the years is the Cancer de Mama Clinic for breast cancer survivors. Other projects have included the building of a local kindergarten. Fashion show funds were also used to install a kitchen at the local Seniors Center.
